During the Seatrade Cruise Shipping Convention, a new association of European ports has been anounced. The CCCB is founder member of the Atlantic Alliance which unites 15 ports all located on the European westcoast. The ambition of this alliance is joint marketing activities of the European westcoast ports from Lisbon to Hamburg. The purpose is to enhance the degree of popularity of the touristic attractions in these destinations.
